Dry hair shows the true fall. Wet cutting can trick you into removing too much length, especially on curly or wavy wigs.
Section and pin
Place the wig on a stand, secure it, and divide into sections. Start with face-framing pieces before touching the back.
Use point cutting
Small vertical snips soften the edge. Straight horizontal cuts can create a shelf.
