You can color many human hair wigs, but the wig cannot grow new hair if the process goes wrong. Treat it like already-processed hair, not untouched virgin hair.
Start with a strand test
Test color underneath the wig. Dry it before judging. Check texture as well as shade.
Deposit is safer than lift
Going darker, toning, glossing, or adding fashion color over blonde is safer than bleaching black hair to platinum.
Protect the lace
Dye can stain lace and knots. Keep product off the base unless you know what you are doing.
